1928 Royal Grand Model 10 (V3) Typewriter

- We will be contacting a typewriter servicing company in Minden, NV, with the aim of getting it serviced to remove all dust inside the machine and make sure it is operating properly. Once that is done, the price will go up. -
 
This beautiful manual typewriter still works as tested using…. (drum roll please)… The. Original. Ribbon. Inside. The. Machine. We couldn’t believe it still had ink inside of it. We have no idea when the ribbon was last replaced. It did start to break up during use, however. As you can see in photos, the ink is light and the ribbon is ripping from use.
 
We identified the model and year of production using the serial number, which is X-1233969, and checking with The Typewriter Database online. The X prefix was an identifier used on specific production lines or variations within a specific year range, according to our research. Our serial number corresponds to the Royal Grand Model 10 Version 3 (with the single glass siding).
 
We have the original cover, but as you can see in photos, it is not in the best condition.
