African Dogon Bronze Ring Pendant with 4 Turtle Heads and Frog/Snake Size 6.75

The snake atop appears as a snake from above with its coils wrapped around, but from the side it appears as a frog. Granted, to be honest, we are guessing what these animals are. You might see something else! The cuff on the band of the ring appears as two hands touching. We could find nothing similar online.
 
We believe this is a design of the Dogon people of Mali as it came with others collected by a late family friend, an American gentleman who lived in the Côte d'Ivoirefor many years in the 1970s.
 
While shaped as a ring, these were often worn as pendants on bands around one’s waist.
