Antique Blue Solar Whorl Decorative Plate/Bowl, 7 3/4" Wide

This glazed earthenware has seen better days, but may have been quite rough to begin with given the uneven bubbling in the mirror, or bowl, of the plate. In addition to the large, very visible broken edges on the front, the back has two cracks on either end. Given its age and appearance, the glaze may be lead based. Source and date acquired unknown.
