Antique Chinese Export Iron Red Ground Duck Figurine, early 1900s, 4” Tall

This ceramic duck features an uncommon iron red glaze, most similar duck shaped ceramics for export at the time in blue or green. It is stamped CHINA inside the base, which dates it to between 1891 and 1918. 
 
We believe this was purchased by the Burr sisters or our grandmother in the 1920s or 1930s. 
 
It does have a barely perceptible chip inside the left wing. There is some dust in its wings and a couple of natural imperfections. Otherwise it is in very good vintage condition.
 
Note: There are a few versions of this same duck available online at much higher asking prices. They are all much taller.
