Antique Ledger Set including ‘The Superior’ Cunninham Curtis & Welch (Set of 2)

$5.00Price

These two ledgers date back to the 1890s-1900s. They do have some foxing inside the front and back covers, and covers show some signs of wear, but they are otherwise in decent vintage condition. We didn’t want to send them to the dump without first offering them here. Perhaps someone would like them as props…

The smaller reddish Ledger titled book has pages marked A-Z in the front, followed by ledger pages 1-170. The larger Cunningham, Curtis & Welch ‘The Superior’ ledger is missing pages 1-14 but continues to page 200. Both have interesting designs on the edge of the papers, real vintage style.

Curtis & Welch were prolific bookbinders and stationers in San Francisco from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Their reputation was for producing high-quality goods, including books and ledgers. Items from this company are now considered collectible for their historical value and craftsmanship.

Smaller ledger: H 7” x W 4 1/2” x D 1/2”

Larger ‘The Superior’: H 14” x W 8 3/4” x D 3/4”
