Antique Victorian Scottish Silver Agate Brooch

The inlaid Scottish agate features ‘The Earth Rainbow’ a selection of plume, rosarita, green, sandy, lace white, and similar earthy hues. This type of brooch was popular 1837-1901. 
 
The silver is unmarked.
 
This piece was found in our grandmother’s jewelry collection. When and where she got it, we do not know. We describe it as antique as all listings online do the same, most with prices much, much, much higher. We have priced this to find it a home, as we cannot verify its age.
