Canon 100mm f:3.5 Lens in Original Leather Case AS IS (Needs Cleaning/Care)

We understand we are asking less than half of what this is worth on eBay but it is because we have only one cap and there appears to be dust under the lens. 
 
The lens Serial Number is 75867. The aperture seems to open and close as intended. The case is clearly used with a section of the leather strap looking like a small animal ate part of it! 
 
We would hate to have to toss this in the garbage if there is someone out there who can fix it and find it a new life! Happy to negotiate towards that end…
