Canon Japan Lens 35mm f:1.8 with Screw Mount and Leather Case

This piece is stamped Canon Lens 40mm on the outer metal piece, but Canon Lens 35mm f:1.8, Canon Camera Co. Japan No. 22800 inside the lens. 50mm f:1.4, Canon Japan on the metal bracket. It comes with both caps and a small leather pouch marked 35mm Canon Lens on the top and JAPAN on the bottom. 
 
The lens do have signs of use, but minimal. The moving parts still work. There may be a bit of dust under the lens and there is dirt or dust in the grooves of the exterior. The pouch does have some scuff marks. 
 
Ideally, this will go to a camera enthusiast for cleaning and testing. Resale prices for tested lens of this size seem to be three to four times more than we are asking.
