Canon Japan Metal Lens Hood 50mm f:1.4 with Leather Case

This piece is stamped Canon Lens 50mm f:1.4, Canon Japan on the metal bracket. There is no model number. The hood is attached via a clamp-on mechanism that is secured with a tightening knob.
 
This comes with a small leather pouch with a side slit for a strap (currently with original tab inside to keep it flexible). Inside are actually two compartments, but we found only this hood inside. The leather inside is a bit discolored on the edges. Otherwise, it is in good vintage condition.
