Conrad Buff (1886-1975): Rancho Escondido, Ltd Ed Lithograph 20/200
Conrad Buff was a Swiss immigrant to the USA with a past in baking, lace-making, and herding (yes, really) before eventually turning his hobby of painting into a career as an artist. His signature style changed over time.
This piece was identified online as an aquatint and drypoint etching. Ours is unframed and numbered 20/200. It appears to have once been pasted to a backing by the discoloring around the edges of the print and possible tape marks on both upper corners and a spot in the middle upper area.
