Dark Wine Shaded Side Bowl and Plate Set by Heath (Set of 2)

We believe these may be early pieces by Californian artist Edith Heath (now Heath Ceramics). The bowl is signed HEATH on the bottom, the plate which we assume is a bread and butter plate, has no maker’s mark. Most Heath creations found online include the registration mark and Made in the USA or California on the base. 
 
The size of the plate matches bread and butter plates, appetizer or dessert plates, tasting plates, and side dish plates.
 
The side plate does have some natural imperfections as shown in the photo, including a pockmark from the glazing process.

Plate: H 3/4” x D 6 1/4”, 9.25 oz
