Extra Long Vintage Cut Crystal Glass Bead Necklace 40”

This vintage piece can be worn flapper style down (sorry, we could not get a good picture of that), doubled up, or in ‘necktie’ style. It is one long continuous chain of multi-faceted glass beads without a clasp. The beads are graduated in size, only about 3/8” (9.5mm) wide at the top and 5/8” (15.9mm) at the bottom.
 
We believe these are crystal due to comparables online as well as the distinct sparkle of the beads, their clarity, precise faceted cut, and weight.
 
These were found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We believe they date to the 1940s-1950s but we did find one similar piece online dating back to the 1920s. The necklace is in very good condition. We have priced it to find it a home where it can be worn in public again…
