Frank Patania FP Sterling Silver Slim Cuff, 6”

Warning: These cuffs do not expand so if planning on wearing them, please take note they are designed for slim wrists of 6” or less.
 
This vintage bracelet is stamped FP STERLING with the Thunderbird logo which we have learned is the mark of influential Frank Patania Sr of Thunderbird Studio Jewelry in Santa Fe. The Italian born silversmith became an influential artisan in the city in the 1950s.
 
This bracelet was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We do not know if she bought it in Santa Fe or when she might have acquired the piece. It does have signs of age, scratches and some very small tarnishing spots we were unable to remove fully.
