Fred Harvey Era Navajo Turquoise Silver Tone Snake Thunderbird Cuff 6"+
This bracelet features what we believe is a smooth green turquoise stone encircled by two snakes with a thunderbird on either side. The band is otherwise stamped with symbols including arrows, flowers and other iconography. The piece tested negative for silver using a home acid test. It is possible the stone therefore is faux turquoise.
This was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. It is in good condition, although a little bit bent. The flexible structure allows for the opening of the bands to fit one’s wrist that this is only to be expected. It is easy enough to reshape it.
Note: Several identical pieces online are asking over $ 200 for this piece, even unmarked.
Circumference inside band 6” but fits larger too.
H 2 1/8” x W 5/8” tapering to 1/4” x D 2”
Approx 0.55 oz (15.6g)
