Green Enameled Seed or Nut Beads

This long strand of green enameled seeds or nuts were impossible to identify. We admit we broke one open to find out what they were, but we could not identify any seed or nut with the same shape online. 
 
A few of these are discolored but we are sure a creative can come up with a way to use all those still shining…
