Greeting Cards: Camden for Velvetone Screen Print (Set of 16)

Printed in the USA, these cards probably date back to the late 1950s or early 1960s. The set includes 9 birthday, 2 get better, 3 thank you, and one each congratulations on the new baby and moving acknowledgement cards. (We’re not photographing all the messages inside cards for the buyer’s delayed delight!)
 
Our mother was drawn to artists who had a sense of humor. As she once said, the Masters were so boring. We believe she collected these as a student or young artist, long before she could imagine the career she would have as a greeting card artist herself in Thailand, her business lasting from 1974 to 2019. 
 
These cards are in excellent condition. There are four original green envelopes and we have added for the rest ochre color envelopes that are not a perfect fit, but better than none! 
 
Bonus: We are throwing in 15 smaller similar style Velvetone cards by mixed artists including blank cards, thank you cards, and party invites.
