H. H. Zwonecheck: Yoni 1/9 (1961)
This rare very-1960s piece of artwork is very bright, so very much of its time. The title Yoni suggests it celebrates the feminine. We believe it is a woodblock print as we found a few other works by an ‘unknown’ artist of this same name and signature that were woodblock prints.
It is titled, numbered and signed by the artist in pencil below the image. It is currently inside a thick mat, printed on a large piece of art paper that is in turn taped between the front and back of the mat board (in other words, easy to remove and remount).
