Hill Tribe Basket Bag 7 ½” Tall

The shape of this basket – circular at top tapering down to two points on either side - and the use of dangling seeds suggests this originated from hill tribes in northern Thailand, although which we cannot identify. The red feather-like dangle feels synthetic and the yarn beneath is nothing distinctive. We also spotted a broken strand of beads as shown in photo. But the basket is eye-catching regardless.
