Huda Moylan: Lake Isle of Inisfree, 1989 (Signed) (16” x 11”)

$10.00Price

Note: This piece is much nicer looking than I was able to capture on camera!

This linocut print is titled, signed and dated, but we are not sure if the artist’s name is Moylan, Maglan, Moglan, or something else. We believe this print is inspired by ‘The Lake Isle of Innisfree’ poem by WB Yeats, a fantasy about building a solitary, peaceful life on an uninhabited island in Ireland. It has a greenish section in the middle with orange and brown shading throughout.

We believe Huda was probably part of the Inkie Fingers collective of artists in Bangkok that our mother Nancy Chandler had helped found.

This piece is in good condition although probably in storage for the last 30+ years. It comes in a cardboard cover cut to size.

H 16” x L 11”
