Long Eight-Strand Stainless Steel Rolo Chain Necklace 29”

This unisex piece with tight rolo chain has a decorative ‘clasp’ as shown in photos, but we were unable to open it, the clasp apparently welded to the necklace. There is no marking and a home acid test came back negative for silver. Given the weight of the necklace, we believe it is stainless steel. 
 
This was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We do not know when or where it was acquired. It is in good condition.
