Mid Century Modernist Niels Erik Denmark Sterling Silver Saucer Pin

This (extremely difficult to photograph) piece is marked on the back DENMARK STERLING N.E. FROM 925 S. The NE are the initials of designer Niels Erik (1966-2009), a Modernist artist. This reflective piece was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We are not sure when or where she got it. She did have several pieces of Danish jewelry, however, most dating to the 1950s and 1960s.
 
Online these sell for $ 100-120 but we know ours could use some professional polishing. It appears to have some residue in the central rim and some wear marks alongside tiny scratches.
