Nancy Chandler (1938-2015): Nepal 2/30 (1987) (Signed)

Nancy Chandler lived in Nepal in 1966-1967 and returned for visits several times over the course of her life. It is where she developed her love of bright colors, this etching in orange hues showing the landscape of a land she loved.
 
The piece is marked 2/30, signed, and dated 1986.
 
Note: The brown smudge above the right side of the image was our amateur attempt to cover up a slice of sun that made it look like there was a crack in the mat. There is no crack in the mat or brown stain in that area. We will try to retake the photo.
 
The mat is a brown-red shade, the glass reflective, the frame wood with a few imperfections.
