Ornate Plated Metal Turquoise Tuareg Cross Pendant Necklace 11”

This Berber nomadic tribal Tuareg or Desert cross pendant’s arms represent the sun, moon, stars, and water. It is believed to be a protective talisman which links to one’s ancestors and the divine.
 
This woven necklace and pendant were found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. They have no maker’s mark or other indication of date acquired or from whom. They are in very good condition.
