Pinkish Vintage Ayurvedic Mixed Metals Copper Brass Open Cuff, 6.5”

Warning: This bracelet is rigid, meaning if you intend to wear it, your wrist should measure 6 1/2” or less. 
 
We believe this cuff bracelet was acquired along with two others from India by our grandmother in the 1930s, where Ayurvedic medicine practitioners believed mixed metal bracelets have healing properties. Copper may reduce stress, pain and inflammation, as well as improve the immune system. Brass may improve the metabolic system and stimulate energy flow.
 
This particular bracelet features what look like leaves in different metals all heading for the central floral bud. The bracelet was polished with copper polish which resulted in the removal of zinc, giving it a pinkish hue. We have since learned it should be cleaned with toothpaste or soap and lemon juice.
