Rare 12 Card Set Aina Stenberg for Eskil Holm Swedish Trad. Dress Miniatures

The envelope is titled ‘12 Nationalminiatyrkort, Serie 2’ (National Miniature Card) and on the back is printed ‘Made in Sweden / Copyright Eskil Holm / Stockholm’. We understand it is very rare to find a full set of 12 cards, individual ones selling for $ 5 each online. 
 
These 12 cards are not only all included but they are in original mint condition, complete with a plastic cover over the first card, and the envelope in good vintage condition. We don’t believe it was ever opened. 
 
Each full color card features couples or crowds in traditional Swedish dress, signed Aina Stenberg. The cards include the names of where styles originate in Sverige (Sweden) - Ostergotland, Uppland, Narke, Varmland, Dalarna, Leksand, Vastergotland, Gastrikland, Smaland (all traditional provinces plus Leksand, an area in Dalarna). On the back of each card is printed ‘Made in Sweden Copyright Eskil Holm, Stockholm’. We have kept them in the order we found them.
 
Swedish artist Aina Stenberg-Masolle (1885-1975)  illustrated many children's storybooks and produced thousands of drawings for holidays and postcards. These cards were published by Eskil Holm, who was an artist himself but also seems to have supported other artists as a publisher.
