Rare Vintage Navajo Five Stone Turquoise Silver Panel Cuff, 6”
Warning: if planning to wear this piece, please note that the cuff is rigid, designed to fit wrists of only 6”
The four bar shank cuff design with four rectangular turquoise stones set in silver channel panels on the front helped us identify this as Navajo, but we were unable to find a single piece in the same layout online.
We polished the back in search of markings to confirm this is silver and found none. A home acid test confirmed it is silver, however.
The turquoise stones do show cracks but are firmly in place. One does have a chip as shown in photos. There is an odd hard paper-like coating on one section inside the band which started to chip off after we took photos, revealing the panel behind it. We did not try to remove it all. The piece is in need of further polishing as evident from the patina in the photos. Otherwise it is in very good condition for its age.
Circumference inside band 6”
