Rattanakosin Bicentennial 1982 Tall Rust Vases (Set of 2)
We were unable to find similar vases online so we assume these are quite rare. We are happy to just find a home for them however.
We believe these were made in Ratchaburi, Thailand. They are rust colored with cream colored imagery - a floral design on one side and two Thai dancers waiing in a kneeled position above the words ‘Ratttanakosin Bicentennial 1982 BANGKOK THAILAND’ on the other side.
Rattanakosin refers to the old quarter of Bangkok, home to the city’s most spectacular sights including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun.
These vases are in excellent condition, bur for natural imperfections. We are waiting for a translation of the text on the base.
Taller Vase: H 8 1/2” x W 2 3/4”
Shorter Vase: H 7 7/8” x W 2 5/8”
Note: These are most likely not dishwasher or microwave safe.
