Written on the top of the collection bottle is REAL SCARAB SACRED EGYPT BEETLE with the initials W.W. to the side, referring to our grandmother by her maiden name Winona Wenzlick. On the bottom is written Scara…. Scaraboeus sacer, W. Wenz.

 

Inside is a small shiny green beetle still intact after almost 100 years. (Winona travelled the world with her grand aunts in 1934-1935.)

 

The Egyptians associated the sacred scarab beetle with rebirth, regeneration and protection.

 

Beetle H 1/4” x L 1/2” x W 3/8”

Weighs almost nothing.
