Sawankhalok Miniature Bulbous Jarlets/Vases (Set of 2), 2" & 1 3/4" Tall

These small round vases or urns are believed to be Sawankhalok / Sangkhalok reproductions, although the smaller one certainly looks like it could go back centuries. We presume they were bought in Thailand by our mother Nancy Chandler in the 1970s-1980s and doubt she would have paid for a genuine original piece.
 
The larger one has a dark brown glaze on the upper half only. Defects include some glaze missing from the rim and a notch or two which may have been caused in the heating process. See photos The smaller one has crackling glaze of an olive hue only from the neck to the middle of the body.
