Shaker Woodshops West Hanging Candle Ledge / Sconce Kit

This came in its original sealed bag with all parts accounted for, plus some extras. Sand, stain, finish, and build your own sconce with this set. As shown in photos, included are the back piece, base, side pieces, hanger, finishing nails and screws. Also included is a selection of chair tape, instructions, a catalog, and more.
 
From the enclosed catalog which was open to the SW 34 Sconce listing: The Shakers of the Pleasant Hill, Kentucky, community produced some of the finest of the sect’s artifacts, as the superb buildings and collections at this skillfully restored village testify today. This sconce, made of solid maple, is a first-rate example of the Kentucky Shakers’ expertise. 
 
We believe our mother Nancy Chandler bought this from the Inverness CA branch when it was still open. We do not know how long ago that was. The Massachusetts head shop is still open but, at the time of researching this piece, temporarily closed. (We were looking for a better photo of the finished item.)
 
You will need to sand, stain, and finish the piece yourself. Fully built, the piece stands at H 25 1/2” x W 8” x D 9 3/4” according to the catalog.
