Stamped inside the band is what appears to read MEXICO 10– 11 925, confirming it is made in Mexico of sterling silver (925) but the 10-11 is tricky. The 10-11 should actually be two letters, perhaps TO indicating Taxco as the city and O as the initial of the silversmith, with 11 the silversmith’s registration number. 
 
This was part of our grandmother’s silver jewelry collection. She visited Mexico often in the 1960s and 1970s. The coding on the back suggests this would have been purchased in the late 1970s or later.
