Spanish Bota Bags / Wineskins / Wine Boots (Set of 2)

Made of leather, these bags are designed to be worn as a crossbody, the colorful ropes acting as slings. They are used for hiking, camping, festivals, and other places where one might want to BYOB…
 
Both have a latex lining inside and appear to never have been used, although the larger  one is in better condition. Both are marked MADE IN SPAIN although it is hard to read on the larger one. Both have leak-proof screw on double caps – one for drinking and a larger one for filling the bag. There are minor scuff marks on both and the smaller one is a bit crumpled, likely due to poor storage.
 
We are not sure how much each can hold, but common sizes are 1, 1.5 and 2 liters. The smaller one is 9” from the cap base to the bottom of the bag, the larger one 10 1/2”.
 
We do not know when these were acquired or gifted to our mother or any other relative. We have no memory of them visiting Spain although it is very possible they did.
