Thai Mulberry Saa Paper: High Fiber Mixed Weights (Set of 20)

These are created using the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The process involves harvesting, softening, beating, and forming the pulp into sheets, which are then dried. 
 
These sets include a variety of weights and sizes, each sheet rich in visible fiber. Expect some sheets to be closer to 5g and others 7g. Sizes are approximately 18-18.5” x 15-16” with some slightly larger and some slightly smaller. Edges may be uneven, some appearing a bit ripped on the corners or much thinner than others, but it is just the result of uneven layering before drying. 
 
Our mother used these in her printmaking and etching work. They came in bundles of different numbers, which we have resorted into sets of 20 sheets each plus one or two extra sheets…
 
These will be mailed in long folded packs of 20 each. To flatten out the paper, you can iron it on a low setting with a cloth barrier, or place it under a heavy weight for a few days. 
 
Approx. 18-18.5” high and 15-16” long.
Weight approx. 5-7g per sheet.
