Thai Mulberry Saa Paper: Red (31” x 23.5”), 9g

The color of this is more of a Christmas red than we were able to capture on camera, so sorry!

These are created using the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The process involves harvesting, softening, beating, and forming the pulp into sheets, which are then dried. 
 
These 9g sheets in our collection are lightweight and somewhat sheer (see-through). 
 
Several of our saa papers have folds or creases and may be mailed folded. To flatten out the paper, you can iron it on a low setting with a cloth barrier, or place it under a heavy weight for a few days. A light misting with water can help relax the paper fibers before flattening as well.
