Traditional Japanese Origami Yuzen Washi Paper Set (3.9” squares x 40)

In its original packaging, this kit includes 40 different beautifully patterned square 10cm x 10cm (3.9” x 3.9”) sheets of decorated paper intended for use in origami, the Japanese art of folding paper into special shapes. See photos for examples. 
 
We believe this is Yuzen Washi Paper (also known as Chiyogami paper) as the sheets have bright intense colors with gold metallic details. These are created by silkscreen onto high quality kozo (mulberry) paper which is strong enough to be used in textile arts and bookbinding as well as collage, jewelry, home décor, and origami.
 
The original packaging has some tape marks from a piece of paper attached to it which incorrectly identified these as traditional Furoshiki Japanese wrapping cloths. After realizing these are too small for most gift wrapping uses, we used Google Translate to confirm the paper label inside the front of the package identifies these as origami papers.
