Vintage Austrian Half-Liter Zipfer Bier Stein/Mug, 0.5L

This heavy grey beer mug bears the logo of Zipler Bier, Zipf an Austrian brewery founded in 1858. We guess our mother picked this up in the early 1960s when she spent time in Austria as a young woman. She always did like her beer! But it appears never to have been used!
 
It is made of heavy stoneware, glazed grey, with dark blue in the logo of the beer. Stamped next to the handle is 0.5L. There are some kiln scars on one side and a drop of glaze in the bowl of the mug.
