Vintage Austrian Piatnik & Sohne Mini Playing Cards No. 5022 – Full Set, 1960s

Published by Wiener Spielkartenfabrik, the Viennese Playing Card Factory. This includes two sets of cards, one with red back, one with blue back, each holding 54 playing cards including two jokers. The cards are H 2 1/4” x L 1 1/2”. We found an identical pack sold on eBay recently for $ 40 with the same model number, with one set of cards in its original wrapper dated 1963.
 
This collectible set has very minor discoloration on the cards, which are not warped. It comes in its original box which is not in the best of condition, as shown in photos. The bottom of the box is marked No. 5022. 
 
We do not know if this belonged to our mother, who used to lead tours in Austria, or our grandparents, who loved playing cards.
