Vintage Avocado Green Metal Tea Pot Accent Piece (Decorative Only)

This avocado green colored enamelware tea kettle has a black coated metal handle and black finial knob on the lid. We believe the handle was originally wrapped in rattan based on finding an identical piece online (with rattan rolling off the handle, explaining why our mother probably removed it from this one). The exterior shifts from avocado in light (as shown in photos) to a darker forest green in shadows. 
 
We believe this might have been a 1970s purchase, but cannot verify this. The exterior is in relatively good condition with no dents, only some rust on the metal buttons attached to the handle, the upper edge of the spout, and the rim at the bottom. The base is rusted as well as the interior which is why we refer to this as a decorative vintage accent piece, rather than a working tea pot.
