Vintage Bauer Yellow Ringware Mixing Bowl # 24, 1940s, 7" Wide
This early Bauer Pottery piece does show signs of use, mostly scratches in the bottom of the bowl (very hard to photograph), and there is a squiggly mark on the side that may be from a pen that cannot be cleaned off. There are also a few pockmarks on the rim and side, most believed to be glazing imperfections. It is still a classic minimalist piece.
The base is embossed “24” and you can only just make out the letters “USA” if you know to look for it.
We do not know how this came into our family, but it has been well-loved.
