Vintage Bronze Lord Rama and Naga Statuette / Amulet (5” High)

$10.00Price

We believe this statuette depicts Lord Rama as an avatar of Vishnu, riding the Sehsha Naga. It could also be the god of water and rain, Phra Phirun, riding a naga snake from the Thai epic Ramakien. Nagas are venerated for protection, good fortune in business and studies, and blessings of fertility.

We believe our mother would have bought or was given this in Thailand in the 1970s. It is in very good vintage condition.
