Vintage Chinese Blue White Pottery Shard Pendant & Silver Tone Chain 31.5”

The pendant is crafted from Chinese porcelain, probably broken china, set in a silver frame, the pendant loop stamped 925 STERLING. The pottery shard features a peony, a flower common in age old Chinese pottery, representing prosperity and honor. We cannot date the shard itself, nor when or where it was purchased, although our grandmother did visit China in 1934-1935.
 
The chain did not test positive for silver using a home acid test. We believe it was added separately.
 
This was found in our grandmother’s jewelry collection. It is in excellent condition but for some natural glazing bubbles on the shard. 
 
Most similar pendants online start at $ 50 and go as high as $ 325…
 
The chain is 28” long, approx. 1 oz.
The silver sided pendant is H 3” x L 2 3/4” x D 1/4”, approx. 1.5 oz
