Vintage Dress Form Pin Cushion & Tape Measure (Missing Thimble..

And missing the felt base. The thimble used to sit on the head of this red velvet dress form / miniature mannequin. We thought someone might be happy with it just as it is however.
 
The metal stand needs a good polishing and has some stains and tape remnants. Because the base fell off at some point in history, the person using this applied tape to keep the tape measure in the base in place. The tape measure still works but is fragile. 
 
The tape measure is stamped Japan at the start. We do not know how long it is as we felt it would be risky to pull it all the way out. It does still retract automatically. There is rust or some kind of stain on the bottom of the tape measure. See photos.
