Vintage Flapper Style Rhinestone Unmarked Silver 3-Side Filigree Necklace 46”

This exquisite piece features intricately crafted ornate openwork silver ‘beads’ with three sides, each with a faceted clear rhinestone in the center of a floral setting, the center hollow. Some rhinestones appear darker than others, and some initially look shorter than others, as if chipped, but not when viewed from the side. We found only one identical online with silver gilt priced at $ 250 for a 50” chain. That listing suggests this is from the 1920s-1940s and may be originally from India. 
 
Ours is in excellent condition, with no rhinestones missing that we noticed during a long inspection. The beads were confirmed silver using  home acid test. 
 
But ours has no original clasp, the necklace instead held together with old wire (our grandmother was nothing if not creative). We do have a spare vintage clasp we can try to include with this piece. Remind us to include it!
