Vintage Hawaiian Kukui Nut Necklace Lei 29”

This traditional ribbon-strung ‘lei’ holds 50 nuts and is lighter than it looks. The glossy nuts are a dark brown color under light, more black in the shadows.
 
This necklace was found in our grandmother’s jewelry collection. There is no maker’s mark or other indication of time or place purchased. It is in good condition.
