Vintage Mexican Silver Plated Clip on Earrings

These were one of our grandmother’s favorite pair of earrings, and are in excellent condition considering they were probably purchased in the 1950s or 1960s. They do show some signs of age when viewed up close, with small scratches on the front and the back. Both are stamped 925, one 925 MEXICO and the other MEXICO 925, but we believe the other letters are MR (maker’s mark) followed by TR45 which would indicate it is silver plated. They are very lightweight, suggesting they are hollow inside.
 
They sit just below the lobe. H 1 1/4” x W 1 1/4” x D 3/8”
