Vintage Mexican Silver Tear Drop Black Onyx Pendants (Set of 2)

These were originally earrings, but one lost its clip on attachment. We like them too much to toss so thought we would throw them in here should anyone want to give them life again as earrings, or pendants, or other ornamental creation. 
 
Stamped on the back are the words ‘925’ and ‘HECHO EN MEXICO’. They do have some tarnish and one has an odd shaped scratch on the front which looks more like an intentional marking, but probably is not such. See photos.
 
Similar ones online in various conditions range in price from $ 46-100 per pair.
 
This was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We do not know when she bought them, but she did travel to Mexico often in the 1960s and 1970s.
