Vintage Midcentury Macchiarini Sculptured Pearl in Mixed Metal Ring, Size 5.25

This sculptured mixed metal modernist ring is sculptured both on the face and the back, a creation of Macchiarini, a San Francisco legacy designer founded in 2948. Inside the band, you can still read the first part of the brand name MACCHIAR, the rest worn off over the years. There are no other marks to suggest it is made of silver and Macchiarini is known for its use of mixed metals, the company still in business today.
 
We found this in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We do not know when or where it was acquired. It has been polished which unfortunately led to the removal of the dark tarnish that really accentuated the pearl in its tiered setting.
