Vintage Orange Wood Bead Costume Jewelry, 1940s-1950s 18”

These orange wood beads are strung on a stretchy string which we would replace if we were keeping it. For someone with long hair to cover the tie and emptier section in the back, it would be just fine! 
 
This necklace is lightweight, the beads in good vintage condition with only minor signs of age, a chip here and a spot there.
 
This necklace was found with our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. They have no maker’s mark or other identification that would clarify where or when she bought them. We did find near identical ones online that said they were from the 1940s-1950s, although, to be honest, we thought they were from the 1960s-1970s.
