Vintage Puebla Talavera Majolica Mexican Bowls (Set of 6), 9"
Handmade in the traditional Uriarte style, with green, blue, and orange floral designs, each unique and markedly uneven. Most marked on the base with some form of Puebla and MEX for Mexico.
We believe these were bought by our grandmother in Mexico in the 1950s or 1960s, and used for decorative purposes.
Kilm marks are visible through the bubble glaze on some. The bowls have some crackling from the glazing process. See photos for examples of condition and age.
Size varies from 9” to 9 1/4” and 9 5/8” in diameter and weight swings from 1lb 1oz to 1lb 6oz.
Note: These are most likely not dishwasher or microwave safe.
