Vintage R Dakin & Co Gray and White Raccoon Hand Puppet, 1976

This plush puppet allows for three fingers to create action –one per hand and one going up into the head. The tag inside reads: © R DAKIN & CO, SAN FRANCISCO. CA, PRODUCT OF KOREA, PA REG NO. 118, ALL NEW MATERIALS, CONTENTS: SHREDDED CLIPPINGS. The date of 1976 found doing online research. It aligns with our ages at the time. Fond memories we have although we always thought this was Ranger Rick! (It is not.)
 
It has held up well for its age, no rips along the seams or stains that we can see. There is a pin in one ear, which goes down into the head - we did not try to remove it to find out why it is there. There is also some fluff stuck to this fellow's nose. See photos.
 
We have given it a little scrub and it is now clean and ready for a new home. Could it be yours?
